The Rainforest Conservatory

The Conservatory was modeled after the glass Palm House at Kew Gardens in London, England. It features a Mayan-style temple face that forms a dramatic waterfall, together with Olmec–and Mayan–motif steles.

It shelters tropical rainforest fruit and flowering plants, including cacao, palms, red bananas, orchids, crotons, irises, anthuriums, torch and variegated ginger, and other exotic plants, arranged around flowing fish ponds. It also houses our resident parrots, Arturo and Flaco.

Our Conservatory is truly an oasis of discovery for adults and children alike.
